As we prepare for our time of regathering for in-person worship on Sunday May 2nd and Thursday May 6th, we want to share some information with you that will outline our Regather Guidelines and other procedures. Please take time to read through these guidelines, and adhere to them in the best interest of our church family, our staff, our worship teams, and our guests.

We will also continue to live-stream our worship services on all of our online platforms as well as our toll-free number.
If you are not comfortable in returning for in-person worship, you can continue to comfortably worship from home.

Should Tuscarawas County move to Level Red, we will revisit our in-person worship services and consider online only again. Should the county move to Level Purple, all in-person worship services will be suspended and will be live-streamed only. 
 
Regathering Guidelines and Policies:
  • If anyone feels sick or exhibits a fever, please continue to worship with us online from home. 
  • In accordance with state recommendations, CDC guidelines, and other local mandates, we require face masks to be worn at all times while in the building. 
  • Facemasks will be provided at the entry doors to anyone in need.
  • Worship Leaders will remove their facemasks as needed in order to facilitate clear communication. 
  • Facemasks are not to be removed during worship at any time.
  • If you are not able to wear a facemask for the duration of the service, or do not desire to wear one, please continue to worship online from home until such time that masks are no longer required.  
  •  Hand Sanitizer and sanitizer stations will be available throughout the church, including at each entry and sanctuary.  
  • Worshippers are asked to wash their hands frequently.  
  • Worshippers are asked to sneeze or cough into their elbows. Worshippers are asked to refrain from physical contact (shaking hands, hugging, etc.) and to abide by safe social distancing practices. 
  • In order to ensure safety and health, the pastor will not be greeting worshippers prior to or after worship services while inside the building. 
  • We will not be offering times of fellowship before or after worship inside the building. 
  • If you wish to gather in fellowship with others, please do so in the parking lot or outside on the church grounds while maintaining safe social distancing. 
  • Worshippers are asked to enter through the main parking lot doors and exit through the education hall doors 
  • Once the service is ended, worshippers are asked to please exit the building and follow safe social distancing guidelines as well as directional signs. 
  •  We will not be offering snacks/coffee in the lobby for the foreseeable future.  
  • Children's ministries will not be available at this time (including the nursery)
  • Sunday School/Bible Studies will not be offered at this time.  
  • The nursery will remain closed. However, diaper changing stations are available in each of the restrooms if needed.
  •  Worshippers are encouraged and invited to bring their children into worship. 
  • The church office and all classrooms, lounge, kitchen, and Fellowship Hall will remain closed.
  • Restrooms will remain open but water fountains will not be available for public use 
  • An offering station will be placed outside the Sanctuary doors to receive offerings on Sunday morning, and in the Fellowship Hall to receive Recharge offerings on Thursday evening.
  • Worshippers are encouraged to use our online giving platforms, including Text To Give
  • We will be offering communion on the first Sunday of each month. However, in the interest of safety and health, communion elements will not be provided. Worshippers are invited to bring their own bread and drink on Communion Sundays. 
  • In order to maintain safety and health for our worship team, worshippers are asked to not approach the altar, pianist, choir director, pastor, or tech booth personnel before, during, or following worship on Sunday morning and Thursday evening. 
  • Worshippers are asked to please refrain from gathering in the lobby area prior to or following worship services. Any social gatherings should take place outside with safe social distancing. 
  • Pews will be cordoned off to every other pew, with seating 6 feet apart. 
  • Worshippers are asked to please sit only where permitted and only sit with those you have come to worship with. 
  • Worshippers are asked to maintain safe social distancing while seated. 
  • Bibles, hymnals, prayer request cards, and offering envelopes will be removed from the pews in order to ensure good public health measures. 
  • The coat closet will not be available for use
