Ordinary people empowered by God making a difference together wherever we are.’
- Dover First United Methodist Church Vision Statement
On Sunday Oct 22nd 2017, we launched a major initiative at Dover First titled
"40 Months Of Reaching Out."
The purpose of this initiative is to focus our vision as Christ's Church
as we look for ways that we can 'reach out' as a church family,
and show love to the people of Tuscarawas County (and beyond)
in ways that will have a lasting impact.
God has never created anybody that He doesn’t love. God created us to love us.
God wants everybody to experience His love, and He counts on us as His children
to reach out and share that message and pass that love on to others.
Love is more important than anything else. It’s what ties everything else completely together. - Colossians 3:14 (CEV)
Each month we will have a new ministry that will focus directly on reaching out to an individual, a family, a business, a school - anywhere and everywhere in our community.
“You obey the law of Christ when you offer each other a helping hand.”- Galatians 6:2 (CEV)
Here are just some of the ways that we have 'reached out' so far!
Month #1 - October 2017 - Kick off month

Month #3 - December 2017
